Dumpster Locations

There are two locations in Lincoln Station for trash. Both locations include both two trash dumpsters.


The first location is in the entrance to Lincoln Station near the tennis court.

The second location is across from the north edge of the clubhouse.

Lincoln Station is no longer recycling. But we encourage our homeowners to recycle appropriate items either by bringing them to the Town Landfill or by bringing items back to your primary homes (if Lincoln Station is not your primary home) and recycling in your home town.

Please follow the Trash rules listed below.
Please make sure that the doors on the dumpsters are latched
​or we will have problems with bears.

Trash Rules

Town Landfill
  • All trash must be put INSIDE the dumpster. There are many animals in the area, especially bears, and trash sitting out will attract them creating both a mess and a hazard.
  • Furniture, including mattresses, must not be left in the dumpster area. If it is not something that you can throw away then you must bring it to the town landfill or arrange to have it picked up.
  • After you place your trash in the dumpster, please latch the door. The bears can open the sliding door if you don't latch it (which will then create a mess and a hazard).
You can bring large items that will not fit in the dumpster to the town landfill which is located on Recycle Road behind the McDonalds Restaurant.

Dump stickers are available at the facility with proof of residency.
​Bring a tax or electric bill with you. 

The hours of operation are:
Friday–Tuesday:  8:00am to 4:30pm
Thursday:  8:00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday and all holidays: Closed
